WRITING THE PERSONAL ESSAY, MEMOIR, AND AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Introduction to writing in personal forms—including the essay, memoir, and autobiography—and the use of such forms in diverse disciplinary contests; students will compose personal essays, memoirs, autobiographies, and autoethnographies, as well as writing in digital forums such as blogs and other social media.
